Carbon Expert supports the “A Warm Chance” project, organized by the NGO, Association SANSA TA. Casiana Fometescu, the founder of Carbon Expert, is a board member of Association SANSA TA, closely monitoring the implementation of this organization’s social-humanitarian projects.
The “A Warm Chance” campaign is dedicated to homeless people in Bucharest. Since 2012, over 1500 homeless individuals (children, young people, families with children, and elderly people) have benefited from food, clothing, and encouraging words from volunteers.
This year, we are focusing our attention on street children and homeless individuals. We aim for approximately 600 of these poor people to receive a warm soup once a week, fruits, and blankets. Volunteers will visit areas like Gara de Nord, Basarab, and other places in Bucharest where homeless people find shelter. Following previous years’ campaigns, many homeless individuals have emerged from the Bucharest sewers, desperate for help.
For over eight years, every Thursday at 6:00 PM, regardless of the season, Association SANSA TA has provided a warm meal to street children at the Gara de Nord subway entrance. Each of us can help with even the smallest gesture!
